Spiral Ring

I am really starting to get frustrated with my inability to take good pictures. I'm going to try taking more pictures during the day, which may mean more of a delay in the postings. We'll see. Anyway, here's my very first fusing project using my very own torch! It needs to be cleaned up a bit - sanded on the end bits and then tumbled for shine, but it's pretty much done. It's a size 6-1/2 ring with a ball on either end, then wound three times. It took about 5 minutes to make, and the sanding will probably take about 5 minutes. Nice, easy, inexpensive project. I can't take credit for the idea, though. I got it from the book Silver Wire Fusing by Liz Jones. Thanks, Liz!

  1. Yeah, I have to wait until daytime in the sunlight to take my pics. In fact, I had to wait until today to take some pics because I finished them to late in the evening to get any good pictures! Don't know what I'm going to do in the winter...
